What you'll be doing...

As the Consultant -Sales & Enablement within the Total by Verizon (TbV) Exclusive Retailer team, a part of the VCG Value Organization, you will be directly responsible for the representation of the Total by Verizon brand ensuring appropriate branded exterior signage is installed for new and remodeled doors. You'll participate in the design of the signs and be responsible for assigning appropriate signage for each site, manufacturing, permitting & installation. You will ensure all sites have exterior signage installed by the time of its Grand Opening.

You will manage multiple sign manufacturers (vendors) ensuring they can meet our deadlines and do not deviate from exterior sign guidelines. You will work very closely with the distribution team and will require a high degree of collaboration across Master Agent and vendor(s), as well as other key support organizations, with responsibilities to include:

  • Own planning and installation of exterior signage at new & remodel locations. Provide forecasting, driving output, and direct accountability for the opening of 1000+ new Total by Verizon locations in 2024 and remodeling existing stores.

  • Serve as the expert in the design, manufacturing and installation of exterior signs. Ensure guidelines are adhered to and educate all parties new to the process.

  • Build new and nurture existing relationships with Master Agents to create processes and procedures that are cost-effective and improve speed to market.

  • Develop new strategies in partnership with Master Agents principals to accelerate the installation of exterior signs by Grand Openings.

  • Own the internal process, ensuring all key stakeholders appropriately participate in the process and approvals.

  • Develop an understanding of roadblocks in the process that exceed SLAs, identify solutions, and drive accountability of SLAs with both Master Agents and signage vendors.

  • Provide recurring leadership readouts on the status of all sites in preparation for its grand opening; identify risks and execute alternate options until signage is installed.

In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience supporting sales channels and/or retail construction.

  • Experience with project management.

  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • An MBA, or an M.S. in related fields

  • Two or more years of Indirect channel experience, including new store openings

  • Exceptional PP/Google Slide creation for executive presentations

  • Understanding of organizational objectives, functions, and motivations.

  • Understanding of key financial concepts relevant to Verizon business performance.

  • Demonstrate ability to work with, understand, and manage analytics data and reporting tools

  • Project management experience.

  • Strong vendor management skills

  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively

  • Ability to prioritize and execute effectively

  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills

  • Managed complex projects with cross-functional teams and aligned groups to a common goal.

Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
