We have an exciting opportunity for a Soy/Grain Production Supervisor in Bainbridge, PA . The core responsibility for this role is to supervise and manage production operations within the soybean crushing and grain facilities to ensure profitability.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the crushing and grain staff to include training and developing staff to meet the needs of the business

  • Lead and manage safety programs to ensure safe working conditions for all associates and compliance with all local, state and federal requirements

  • Lead and manage environmental programs to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements

  • Manage production operations to ensure maximum equipment and personnel utilization

  • Manage product quality to ensure customer requirements and specifications are attained

  • Manage routine and preventative maintenance programs for the production operations to ensure efficient operation

  • Perform job functions within established CGMP's

  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Minimum Education

  • Bachelors degree (Agriculture, Management, Business or Engineering) OR 10 years of work experience can be substituted for degree

Experience Requirements

  • 3- 5 years experience

  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies, quality control processes, safety and environmental programs, and requirements

  • Standard software applications.

  • Strong communication, math, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Able to move freely throughout AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), exposure to extreme temperatures (0 - 100 degrees Fahrenheit), humidy (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
