Job Responsibilities: * Install, set up, repair, and maintain new and existing manufacturing tooling and equipment. * Develop and update maintenance procedures as necessary. * Responsible for executing and coordinating all in-house electrical projects, supplies, maintenance, & inspections necessary to operate a safe & compliant facility. * Provide guidance to route tasks. * Complete entries in Preventive Maintenance Logs & CMMS program. * Assist manufacturing engineering/personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing process problems. * Use knowledge and experience to identify, repair or escalate issues. * May work with process and/or manufacturing engineering or management on more theoretical/complex problems. * Develop vendor relationships to provide competitive pricing for parts & supplies. * Find solutions using a systematic, multi-step approach. * Read & understand mechanical/refrigeration schematics & electrical ladder diagrams. * Candidate will schedule, coordinate & monitor contractors for jobs required beyond the scope of this position. * Candidate may be tasked with getting quotes from various outside contractors. * Ability to plan, execute, & complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. * Organize & maintain spare parts inventory for completing timely repairs on all equipment. * Provide management with periodic reports. * Complete other tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications: * Proficient written & oral communication skills. * Computer literacy * Excellent organizational skills & ability to prioritize projects. * Ability to operate & knowledge of simple & complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, & boom lifts. * Working knowledge of PLC controls. * Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, & HVAC systems. * Working knowledge of VOM, Amperage Meter, Megger, Data Logging, & related electrical testing equipment. * Working knowledge of uninterrupted UPS power systems. * Working knowledge of NFPA-70E & NEC codes as it relates to electrical installations, repairs and safety. * Proficient industrial electric service installation, maintenance, and repair. * Proficient data/voice cabling installation, maintenance, and repair.
Job Requirements: * High School graduate, technical or trade schooling preferred. * Certification in one or more of the following may be preferred: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, or electronics. * At least 5 years of experience with electrical maintenance & installation in an industrial manufacturing or chemical environment required. * Medical device manufacturing experience preferred. * cGMP knowledge desired. * Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. * Previous CMMS software experience desired. * CPR/First Aid Training is a plus.
