Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential

Location: Sittser Road, Cayuga County | Organization: Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY)

Mozaic is seeking experienced and knowledgeable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. As a DSP, you'll support individuals to live independently while ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. You'll assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping while promoting skill development, communication, and social engagement. In this role, you'll also provide emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy to help individuals achieve their personal goals and actively participate in their communities.

ENHANCED Pay Rate: $18.70 - $20.70/hr.+ based on experience with behavioral and mental health!

Differential pay includes evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Qualifications:

Experienced professionals in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) are required for this position due to the complexity and specialized nature of the services provided at this location. The role demands a deep understanding of individualized care, including the implementation of specific plans. Professionals with experience in this field will bring the necessary knowledge and skills to support individuals effectively and maintain their health and well-being in various settings.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid NYS driver's license are required for this role. Prior experience as a CNA, health aide, caregiver, or direct support professional (DSP) is also a plus.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Residential Shifts Available:

Evening: 3 PM to 11 PM (times can fluctuate)

Overnight: 11 PM to 7 AM (times can fluctuate)
