Examples of Duties

• Assists with academic and staff end-user support and operations

• Responsible for software operations for all faculty, lab, and staff computers and associated hardware

• Provides technical assistance and troubleshoots audio-visual, hardware, and software problems

• Performs related duties as assigned

Typical Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED

• Associate’s degree or equivalent certifications in Computer Information Systems preferred

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with Windows (e.g., 10), and MAC OS X, and desktop networking preferred

Terms of Employment:

• This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.

Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension (https://www.nj.gov/treasury/pensions/pension-active-dcrp.shtml) . Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
