ASRC Federal Holding Company Process Improvement Specialist 1 in Atlantic City, New Jersey
ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in the enterprise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work with teams to implement process changes and improvements
Facilitates change management to ensure adoption of process improvements by employees, includes training
Suggests and implements improvements to existing processes
Documents all aspects of process improvement initiatives
Provides guidance on project planning and development and provides regular reports on progress
Collaborates with stakeholders across different team to ensure implementation and to assess impacts
Ensures that process improvement is aligned with SLE quality standards and requirements
May be tasked to support other systems within AJW-171
Works independently with no supervision
Coordinates, plans, and collects information on process management, process improvement, operations analysis or quality control/quality assurance activities
Supports the development of process, Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC)
Compiles and tracks data for special studies, audits and other investigations
Assists with the development of training or familiarization materials for the above activities
Partially writes and supports the overall development and implementation of process re-engineering, quality, configuration management and business process modernization projects
Assists in the preparation of organization-wide plans and models. Responsible for reporting on progress and status
Partially writes and supports the overall development of and/or provides quality reviews of task materials
Researches and develops processes, audit documentation and detailed reports on the development, implementation and analysis of re-engineering methodologies, business improvement principles, configuration management and business process modernization projects
Develops plans and schedules for projects within the task
Develops and applies organization-wide plans and models consistent with organizational goals to achieve cost, time, configuration management and quality improvements
Performs analysis and evaluation of all aspects of FAA Business Operations
Provides specialized expertise in process improvement supporting FAA second level engineering policies and processes
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Full-time position, standard work hours, no specified job duration
On-site at the FAA WJHTC
Requirements :
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) years of process improvement experience OR Master’s Degree with a minimum of fifteen (15) years process improvement experience. Specific training and/or certification in one of the following, iCMM, ISO, CM, or PMP is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge and background of second level engineering standards and policies
Knowledge of System Support Directive process
Ability to overcome challenges and setbacks
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities and requirements
Ability to identify root causes of process issues and develop solutions
Work Environment and Physical Demands

US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
