Showboat Properties LLC Food and Beverage Cashier for all Food Service Outlets in Atlantic CIty, New Jersey
Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as counter attendants. As a counter attendant, you will be responsible for taking orders from customers, processing payments, assembling food orders, and providing excellent service with a smile. This position is a tip-pool position
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they approach the counter, take their orders accurately, and provide helpful recommendations as needed.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems to process orders, accept payments, and issue receipts.
- Assemble food orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Prepare and package food items, such as burgers, fries, sandwiches, and beverages, for dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter and surrounding areas, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of trash.
- Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff and managers, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or fast-food environment preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate cash registers and POS systems accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
