ProSphere Tek Financial Analyst in Atlantic City, New Jersey

Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services companyseeking a Financial Analyst located in Atlantic City, NJ. This candidate will utilize subject matter knowledge and judgment to provide contractmanagement, cost analysis, and financial data support for approximately 20 support contractsadministered by the Laboratory Services Division.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

This candidate will classify, monitor, and summarize financial data for the preparation andsubmission of reports on a recurring basis. The candidate will provide supportingdocumentation to COR for attachment to Procurement Requests. The candidate willcoordinate and assist in the review of invoices for payment and ensure receipted invoices arereturned to the Contracting Officer for payments in a timely manner. The candidate willcompile and deliver relevant documentation to assist in acquisition planning, modifications,and any other procurement activities deemed necessary. The candidate will possessknowledge of FAA accounting and procurement practices and the Government appropriationprocess. Must be detailed oriented, have effective communication and writing skills, and beefficient in Microsoft Office.

Minimum Requirements

  • A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by; at least 24 semester hours in any combination of: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, marketing, quantitative methods, and management; AND at least 8 years of relevant experience.

  • The government may consider education as an acceptable substitute for experience. An acceptable substitute for experience is a master’s degree in a business-related area of study from an accredited university AND at least 6 years of relevant experience. The government may consider experience as an acceptable substitute for education. At least 8 years of relevant experience over and above the minimum experience requirements for the position will be considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
