Senior User Experience/Commerce Multi-Platform Architect, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Be responsible for Ecommerce solution design, build, deployment and post production support of Enterprise Order Management system for client. Work with business and IT teams to help client finalize the business requirements for redesigning and building Enterprise Order Management (EOM) system. Responsible for assessment, creation of solution design and build of required components for migration of legacy web service based eCommerce Product Management application to microservice based architectures using Docker and Containers Orchestration. Work with architects from other application domains from clients to establish eCommerce Order Management application Integration architecture, communication patterns to integrate a management system with Ecommerce Front end Order capture application, Ware House Management System, SAP Services, JDE applications within clients eCommerce ecosystem as per clients IT operational model. Create solution design as required to redesign clients CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with cognitive capabilities. Oversee development teams day to day work, provide technical guidance to team in implementation of the order. Capture application changes and be responsible for application code review to ensure application changes are as per defined requirement and code quality standards are as per clients IT policies. Provide suggestions to optimize code to align code with industry standards and client best practices throughout the application development life cycle. Be responsible for determining environment strategy and work with client IT for detail infrastructure capacity planning as necessary for the project execution. Create necessary infrastructure build documents for various phases of project delivery, including development, integration testing, user acceptance testing and production rollout phases. Be responsible to support QA/UAT phases of the project by working closely with client QA and business teams to provide required fixes for bugs/issues that are reported as part of QA/UAT (Quality Assurance/User Acceptance Testing) phases. Be responsible for support and resolution of application issues in hypercare and post production phases development life cycle. Utilize Restful APIs using Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, API Connect, Azure AKS and Dotnet Core APIs, Adobe Scene and Oracle Endeca. Required: Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree) and one (1) year of experience as a UX designer, Information Architect, or related.
