IBM Corporation Project Manager in Armonk, New York

Project Manager, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Plan, execute and track scope of work and deliverables. Create and manage project schedules, identifying any slippage and issues. Responsible for day-to-day onshore/offshore project management activities on site to ensure all tracks are planned and delivered on schedule, on budget and deliver the stated objectives with responsibility for the deliverables and overall success of the project. Host daily scrum meetings, demo meetings, iteration retrospectives as needed. Update the Jira/Confluence and SharePoint with the updated status. Manage all exceptions to scope, schedule and budget and raise to stakeholders as needed work with all onshore and offshore resources. Identify, monitor, and resolve issues and risks. Use standard tools for capturing issues and risks to ensure full transparency. Establish and maintain the correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables, prioritization of tasks and resources, and develop maintain an integrated project work. Plan to ensure proper schedule milestone delivery coordination in conjunction with the standard Project Manager. Provide transparent and timely updates to program management and steering team for decisions, consultation and information. Participate in weekly meetings with the Standard Project Manager. Communicate with Customer senior management/Executive and Delivery leadership. Facilitate cross-team communication. Utilize skills in IT Infrastructure and Architecture, ServiceNow, SDLC, JIRA, SharePoint, Kanban, Scrum, Agile. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer, Program Manager, Project Manager or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing IT Infrastructure and Architecture, ServiceNow, SDLC, JIRA, SharePoint, Kanban, Scrum, Agile. $157,768 to $223,400 per year.
