Inspector- Recieving

Contract Position

At Moseley we are supporting the largest defense contrators Missile and Fire Control program. The efforts of our employees are the key to the newest innovations in defense and aerospace.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and clerical duties involved in receiving materials, supplies and equipment.
• Utilize computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
• Unpack and examine items received and verify completeness against bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
• Keep records of goods received; reject damaged, excess, or misdirected goods and processes necessary paperwork to notify appropriate purchasing, material, vendor, and other concerned organizational personnel.
• Route materials to inspection, stores, or other destinations; and may operate mobile equipment used to move materials
• Answer inquiries concerning status of rejected or other goods.

Qualifications:

• Actual Inspection Experience. True inspection of parts
• Similar industry experience
• High School Diploma (no degree required)
• Desired Qualifications:
  • References to tools used in previous roles. (Calibers, Micrometers, CMM-Coordinated measuring machine)
