We're seeking a Bridge Foreman to join out Heavy Civil division, to work on both Public and Private Projects. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bridge Foreman to lead and oversee PennDOT bridge and structure construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing crews, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and maintaining project schedules. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily crew activities on bridge construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and DOT requirements
- Manage material orders, equipment operation, and job site logistics
- Monitor productivity, quality of work, and adherence to project schedules
- Train and mentor crew members, ensuring a skilled and efficient workforce
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge construction, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in concrete formwork, rebar installation, and structural steel erection
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety standards
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and use construction tools as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
