Maintenance Worker
Job description
Responsible for performing semi-skilled tasks in a multi-location environment. This includes the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and grounds elements of houses, apartment complexes and agency buildings and facilities.
-Perform necessary tasks as determined by a pre-established Preventative Maintenance Schedule. -Perform needed maintenance and repair at supportive houses and affordable/senior housing complexes to ensure their readiness for new tenants including a variety of skilled carpentry, electrical, painting, plastering, dry walling, plumbing, heating, limited air conditioning and mechanical repair work, door hardware, keying, exit and emergency lighting and other turnover cleaning and repair as needed. -Perform plumbing work including the installation, repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters and pipes. -Perform routine inspections at houses, apartment complexes and building facilities to identify maintenance needs; complete inspection and preventive maintenance reports, recommend and perform corrective maintenance as required. -Responsible for grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, snow shoveling and salting as required. -Work with Contractors for services over and above routine repairs and maintenance. -On call 24/7 for emergency maintenance issues. -Must supply own basic hand tools.

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
