Hiring range: $18.39-$24.59 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

• Aids with movement and placement of patients.

• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.

• Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.

Complexity of Work:

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work efficiently in fast-paced settings

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

• Required Credential(s) for C.N.A. Applicants:

• Nurse Aide credentialed from the New York Department of Health - Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
