Millipore Technical Sales Support Engineer (Hybrid) PA in Allentown, Pennsylvania

This position will provide technical and aftermarket support for Delivery Systems & Services (DS&S) offerings including GASGUARD®, ChemGuard®, and Polyflow equipment products for the Americas and Europe with an initial focus on the GASGUARD®, ChemGuard®, Product line of equipment. This position will be integrated into the North America and Europe Sales Team and will mainly provide support to the Sales Engineers in these regions. The Technical Sales Specialist will manage the sales efforts of order execution, spare parts, retrofits and services as well as handling customer complaints, warranty and services issues for our customers based in these regions.This position is a high activity position working as an integral part of the Sales team. A qualified candidate will be a strong team player that is able to work with internal and external partners and customers to develop strong relationships that effectively support Sales activities. Internal sales team point of contact for reporting progress and closure of Customer quality notifications to the Sales Engineer for communication to the customerMonitoring of high visibility customer orders, communicating with Sales Engineers and manufacturing on status, at risks, and estimated timelinesMonitor on-time shipment of materials to customers and investigate missing parts as required by customer inquiriesCoordinate with the Sales engineer and appropriate internal individuals to help facilitate the closure of manufacturing and engineering offline issuesAssist the Sales Engineer with managing Customer Specific Equipment and Spare Parts Price listsDevelop quotations for spares and retrofit opportunities for new fabs, expansions, and process changesSupport general equipment proposals as needed to support the Sales EngineerProvide technical sales support to customers (as needed by the Sales engineer for spare parts and minor spec gas and chemical precursor equipment questionsSales interface for Start-up services opportunities in region. Responsible for coordinating with customers and Versum Regional Sales Manager when equipment is scheduled to ship and when start-up support is neededFlexibility in dealing with competing priorities, have the skills for developing solutions for customer needs and a willingness to work in a fast-paced organizationTravel 20%-30% This is a Hybrid role to be located in Allentown, PA, Chandler, AZ or Austin, TX - 3 days a week onisite at location

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other technical engineering degree 3+ years of project management and customer facing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical knowledge and understanding of electronics specialty gas/chem equipment design and operationKnowledge of SAPAbility to present data and can communicate with people at all levelsAbility to influence the cross functional teamAbility to inspire the confidence of Management and Customers in correspondence and reaction to problemsSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks at one time
