Digital Technology Project Manager - Role and Responsibilities:

We have an immediate opening for a Digital Technology Project Manager based at our global headquarters in Allentown, PA.
The Digital Technology Project Manager reports to the Manager, Regional Presidents, and Corporate Center's Projects. You will lead a wide variety of projects across the Digital Technology Applications and Analytics departments.
Digital Technology projects range from highly complex technology-based projects, which change technical platforms and architectures to strategic business projects that significantly change the business processes and practices to multiple low-cost, short duration enhancement projects.
The Digital Technology Project portfolio typically has over 100 active projects at any time. These projects are sponsored by our business supply chains, business segments, and global process management teams worldwide delivering DT solutions and services. Project types include infrastructure and application-based DT solutions both internally built and externally purchased or hosted.Scope of responsibilities include:
Manage multiple medium and/or moderately complex projects, which support multiple business areas and geographies
Lead project teams from demand through execution to meet stated business and project objectives
Establish and measure key project objectives
Clarify, develop, evaluate and detail individual project plans
Work on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
Ensure project team cohesiveness where team members are in multiple locations and of diverse cultural backgrounds
Balance business desires/requirements with IT possibilities and cost constraintsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:
Project experience which includes Project Management of Applications Systems and Services, Project Management of Mergers, and/or Acquisitions and Divestitures and may include Infrastructure
Project Management of SAP Deployments (or enterprise equivalent) for both ERP and HR areas is a plus
Project Management of custom development solutions
Knowledge and experience in creating/maintaining schedules, project cost management, risk and issue management, and communications management.
Lead project scope and project change management.
Experience in building client and customer relationships
Proven verbal and written communication across multiple levels of leadership
Ability to seek information; you are a conceptual problem solver who takes initiative
Professional confidence; you make an impact on and influence others
Willing to take ownership - achievement driven
Able to hold teams and individuals accountable and lead change efforts
Lead teams focusing on collaboration and partnership
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of industry
Familiar with IT Project Execution Methodologies (Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile)
User of project management tools - Planview a plus
Hybrid work environment preferred; remote will be considered depending on distance
Hours may require flexibility depending on project team location
10% domestic travel with the possibility of international travelEducation and Licensing Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience. Project Management Professional Certification or Project Management Certification highly desired.
