Reimagine What's Possible

The Manufacturing Project Engineer will have the ownership of product fabrication to product spec required in Hydrogen refueling station. The global hydrogen energy market is driving major hydrogen capacity investments that will cause a step change in energy transition requirements opening significant need for fueling stations. The engineer will leverage Air Products stake holders input to achieve project target by delivering the products to specification, on time and at cost and ensure synergies with the Air Products hydrogen business.The goal is addressing the supply chain and fabrication of the product and achievement of greater global mobility market share. In addition, the hydrogen energy transition is in the middle of a surge with major new sources expected to open up new hydrogen fueling segment creating the new product line not yet part of the portfolio for which supply chain will play a major role in supporting the hydrogen fueling market.

III. DIMENSIONS: * Highly cross functional, requiring effective relationships and influence within Air Products organization to achieve results. * Ability to communicate at all level and demonstration of Ethical practice. * Drives innovation and comfortable with "white space" projects. * Strong Manufacturing project management skill to handle supply chain challenges and to achieve product budget and lead time targets.

IV. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES This position will be accountable for the following end results: * Uphold Air Products safety philosophy for both the workplace and projects. * Working with HRS product line, regional execution team, quality assurance, supply chain, business area and varies Air Products stake holders to delivery product on schedule and on budget monitoring progress and performance. * Ensuring all changes are handled in accordance with the standard operating procedure and owns the whole lessons learned process. * Planning and leading the product fabrication process to ensure completion. * Evaluating and seeking required approval for changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a product. * Prepare monthly/quarterly spend analysis. Provide current financial information and trend log regarding potential impacts to product budget or forecast. * Ensuring sustainability impact of product build and contribute towards Air Products sustainability goals.

V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * BS or MS, preferably in mechanical Engineering. * 4+ year Experience in manufacturing Project management. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Effective team building and teamwork skills, across a variety of personnel. * Knowledge / experience in hydrogen refueling product line a plus. * Self-motivated and ability drive success * Able to learn quickly and contribute to multiple portfolios of technology marketing.
