Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include inventory management, receiving in blood samples and shipping out blood products, answering phones and assisting the laboratory with duties as needed.

What to Expect

Schedule: Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (rotates every other weekend)

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to:
Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
Learn about handling blood samples, laboratory protocol and practices.
Order laboratory supplies.
Answer phone calls from hospitals.
Learn about our Cord Blood tissue and blood/cells extraction process.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, Laboratory Science, Chemical, Physical or Biological Sciences required.
CLIA requirements for high complexity testing required.
No experience required.
