KeyBank Senior Argo Software Engineer in Albany, New York

Responsibilities:
Own and influence the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
Independently develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned; performs code reviews for all levels of engineer.
Designs solutions for the overall health, performance, and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
Strong technical expert on the team; assigns work, mentors, and trains junior engineers.
Advocates for new technology and improvements.
Applies, and prepares to ensure, proper security standards for code development.
Assists in the development of strategies for the full software development life-cycle of new and emerging technologies and make recommendations regarding selected technologies and demonstrates the viability
Creates technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing code
Identifies and develops potential standards and best practices.
Proposes high-level application platform architectural guidelines
Formulates and designs technical solutions to meet business needs
Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in software development and ability to learn Argo
Preferred minimum 5 years of Argo experience is a must; ideally in Teller platform
Argo/Bankpro experience with traditional client/server architecture; Argo web/ API experience is a plus
Experience in developing interfaces for Argo Teller platform with CAD devices, Check imaging software, Electronic Cash recycler machines is ideal
Experience working with Alogent Front Counter is a plus
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases
Experience working with SOAP and RESTFUL web services
Experience working with Web methods, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Azure Dev/Ops, XML and .Net is a plus
Strong knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
Experience in Banking / Financial Industry is a plus
Ability to trouble shoot software and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter and driven
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
