RN Supervisor Patient Logistics/C3-St Peters Hospital

Shift: Days

EXEMPT/Salaried

The primary responsibilities of the RN Supervisor include, but not limited to:

  • Provide onsite resource support and oversight to the care management staff, under direction of the RN Manager

  • Provides orientation, support, and leadership development to staff to support the development of a patient focused working environment

  • Under direction of the RN manager, provides support and development for department specific programs including but not limited to Patient Logistics, St Peter's transfer center, and staffing department

Minimum requirements:

  • Current and valid NYS RN license

  • Bachelor of Science in nursing, or willingness to purse defined plan for matriculation in program demonstrated by ongoing course work each semester

  • 3+ years of experience in acute care as a RN

  • 1+ year of leadership experience in health care setting

Preferred requirements:

  • 2+ year of experience in case management or utilization management

  • Case Management certification (CCM) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Management (CPHM)

  • Discharge planning and community resource knowledge

  • Maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities

  • Critical thinking skills to problem solve

  • Highest level of time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills to communicate in a fast pace work environment across people and teams of different backgrounds and demographics

  • Engage within a team setting to help promote a strong culture

  • Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range: $36.50-$50.68hr

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
