Alaant Part-Time Accounting Assistant in Albany, New York

Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support the CFO with daily financial operations. The position is HYBRID 15-20 hours / week during business hours, with flexibility on days and times. In this role, you will assist with bookkeeping, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily utilization of QuickBooks to assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing

  • Maintain accounting email and distribute to appropriate staff

  • Perform general administrative duties related to finance and accounting

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or relevant experience)

  • 1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

Work Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time days with flexible scheduling options available

  • $26.00-28.00 per hour
