Schedule: 12-hour compressed work week, either day or night. Candidates must be flexible with changes to this schedule.

Pay Rate: $25 - $30 Hourly, DOE

Travel time: Up to 25% (local travel, with possible international travel for training purposes)

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Complete installations and commissioning of semiconductor systems

  • Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment

  • Maintain distributions systems, including repairs, preventive maintenance and communicating data regarding the condition of systems

  • Respond to routine matters as well as severe and emergency conditions. Able to react calmly during all events to apply safe and lasting resolutions

  • Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials

  • Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions

  • Troubleshoot electro-mechanical faults with little to no outside support

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repairs with other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Reading and understanding of electrical/mechanical drawings and blueprints

  • Comfortable with using DVMs and testing electrical circuits

  • Experience performing software updates on equipment

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment using factory diagnostic manuals

  • 2-5 years hands on maintenance activity servicing the Automotive industry, HVAC, Ex-Military, or directly supporting the Semiconductor industry

  • Mechanical aptitude as well as an ability to use appropriate tools

  • Excellent customer interface skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed

  • This position requires eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship  

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in confined areas in a clean room environment, in low positions and high places

  • Full gown and clean room procedures must be adhered to

  • Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds

  • May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing

  • Will require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents, or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, and more

  • Overnight travel to factory, training facilities and customer locations will be required

Preferred:

  • Experience in equipment installations, preventive and corrective maintenance activities
