HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Management:
    • Generate and nurture leads/prospects - sourced through our corporate/enterprise engagements and who have been approved to be eligible for the service offering - to support the growth of our GS Personal Wealth and GS Ayco Executive Wealth businesses
    • Leverage and execute through different marketing channels such calling and email marketing
    • Conduct exploratory meetings and classify hot, warm and cold leads based on a variety of pre-determined qualifying criteria including, but not limited to understanding their financial goals and complexities
    • Update lead information within our CRM software, Salesforce
  • Sales Management:
    • Understand how the sales process works and manage your assigned pipeline
    • Updated with market trends, economic developments and regulatory changes to support prospective client marketing discussions
    • Develop a strong working knowledge of our financial planning services to support the role's sales and marketing efforts
  • Communication and Relationship Skills:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to warm hand-off the prospective client to a Wealth Advisor for continued conversations and relationship building
    • Leverage strong verbal and written communication (phone/Zoom/email) with the ability to be engaging with prospects and overcome objections during the meetings
    • Strong listening skills to be able to read and react to eligibles objections and overcoming objections in positioning for a meeting
    • Develop strong internal relationships with Wealth Advisors and leadership
    • Represent Goldman Sachs' core values when interacting with leads and with internal colleagues
  • Assist other initiatives as requested

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance or Economics preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the marketing, sales and/or financial industry preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work with teams and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft products, including Work, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint
  • Experience in Salesforce preferred
  • Self-motivated individual contributor who can collaborate effectively with others
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet Goldman Sach's high work quality standards
  • Time management and organizational skills with the ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work, multi-task and handle last minute requests

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $60000-$100000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
